Website content and blog edits

A website content or blog edit includes both content and copy edits of the material, so comments will cover aspects of the writing such as organization, tone, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarification. Edits will include minimal if any research, fact checking, or original writing. A website content/blog edit at Ignited Ink Writing, LLC includes:

  • A 30 minute phone call to discuss client’s goals for the website/blog, target audience, and any specific aspects of the website/blog they want the edits to focus on
  • A copy of the documents with edits marked using Microsoft Word’s “Track Changes” tool
  • A letter detailing the reasoning behind the edits
  • A follow up 30-45 minute phone call or meeting to discuss the edits and any further changes.

Website content and blog writing

Website content and blog writing is the creation of new content for a client or a rewrite of old content. This is for people who need a writer, not just an editor. Website content and blog writing at Ignited Ink Writing, LLC strives to capture the voice and tone of the client and includes:

  • A 30 minute phone call to discuss client’s goals for the website/blog, target audience, and the topic of the piece
  • A Microsoft Word document containing the website content/blog post created using the topic and research provided by the client (If client chooses not to provide research, they will be billed for research hours, increasing their costs significantly)
  • A 30-45 minute phone call or meeting to review the document and discuss revisions
  • Up to two content revisions
