YA characters think and act with the hormone-fueled passions of teenagers experiencing their first kiss, betrayal, death, first everything. This workshop covers how to develop these characters, what makes a novel YA, and common misconceptions.

Point of View: Options, Benefits, and Pitfalls

Sunday, September 9, 2018, 8am

Point of view can make or break a story, so thought should be put into which character's perspective is provided and how much distance is between the reader and the characters. This class dives deep into the pros, cons, and uses of each point of view.
