The Traditional Path to Publishing
Brad Wetzler will interview Chris Hunt about the path of traditional publishing including strategies for approaching agents, how to speak their language, and what it’s like to pitch a book, land a book deal, do the work, finish the project, and more.
Christopher Hunt has a background as both a journalist and an author. As a journalist, he worked as a staff correspondent for The Economist and The Asian Wall Street Journal. As an author, he has published two non-fiction books--Sparring With Charlie and Waiting For Fidel--both of which were first-person narratives of his travels in Vietnam and Cuba, respectively. Chris is currently working on a proposal for his third book, which is based on his work as the college essay coach who guided the quadruplets who were all accepted to both Harvard and Yale. He has also helped several fellow writers with proposals for books that were bought and published.
